Sweet Corn

Back in the early 70’s, we started raising sweet corn for very selfish reasons: we wanted to eat the very best corn on the cob we could find. Our goal was to raise enough to fill the freezer so that we could eat it all winter long. With what was left over, we started selling out by the road in front of the farm.
Our ideas for selling sweet corn were very simple:

  • Buy seed that will produce the best sweet corn.
  • Pick it fresh every day. If it does not get sold that day, we eat it for supper.
  • Keep the customer happy.

Thirty plus years have gone by, and we are still selling sweet corn the same way. We are a little older, and there is a new generation of the family out helping pick (and eat) the sweet corn, but our love for fresh sweet corn remains the same. You will not find better or fresher sweet corn anywhere!
