Bring the kids out for some hands-on education. We are now taking reservations for Summer and Fall 2012. Please email us at info@thistleberryfarm.com, or call 574-289-0164, to check on the availability of dates and times, and to schedule your field trip.

Field trips are by appointment only. This discounted rate is available for school groups and day cares only. Field trips are only available on weekday mornings and early afternoons.

Summer Field Trip - Appropriate for ages 3 through 4th grade - Available July and early August

  • Navigate through a 1 acre corn maze
  • Visit all the farm animals in the barnyard area
  • Jump on the super gigantic Jumping Pillow
  • Take a ride on the Cow Train
  • Access to our playground area
  • Have fun with the Duck Races
  • Race on the pedal cars
  • Play on the new Super Slide
  • $5.50 per child; $3 per adult. Teachers and teacher aids are free.

Fall Field Trip Option 1- Appropriate for ages 3 through 2nd grade - Available September and October

  • Navigate through a 1 acre corn maze
  • Visit all the farm animals in the barnyard area
  • Take a hay ride around the farm to the pumpkin patch
  • Pick a pumpkin in the pumpkin patch
  • Jump on the super gigantic Jumping Pillow
  • Take a ride on the Cow Train
  • Have fun with the Duck Races
  • $5.50 per child; $3 per adult. Teachers and teacher aids are free.

Fall Field Trip Option 2- Appropriate for grades 2nd through 12th grade- Available September and October

  • Navigate through our 5 acre educational corn maze
  • Visit all the animals in the Petting Farm
  • Take a hay ride around the farm
  • Pick a pumpkin in the pumpkin patch
  • Take a couple laps around the pedal car track or get two shots from the Corn Cannon
  • $6.50 per child; $3 per adult. Teachers and teacher aids are free.

Please Read!

  • We do require one teacher or chaperone for every five students. Teachers and chaperones that are actively monitoring students in this capacity are free, although they do not get a free pumpkin from the pumpkin field.
  • Teachers and chaperones may pay $2 per pumpkin if they would like a pumpkin from the field (fall field trips only).
  • Siblings will be charged the same rate as the students. All children, regardless of age, will need to pay the field trip rate.
  • Minimum school group size is 15 students. Field trips last approximately 90 minutes.
