Birthdays

Thistleberry Farm is a great place to host a birthday party. We have plenty of activities to keep the kids busy and plenty of room for them to run off some energy. Our birthday package is customizable so you can easily select exactly what you would like to do. The only stipulation is that the package must total at least $85 in order to reserve the Birthday Party Picnic Area.

  1. Please call (574-289-0164) or email (info@thistleberryfarm.com) to check on the date and time you would like to reserve to confirm that it is available.
  2. Print out this page and fill out the required information. There is no charge for parents to come and sit in the reserved picnic area for free, but tickets will need to be purchased for any activities that they participate in. We do require children under the age of 15 be accompanied by an adult on the hay rides and in the corn mazes. Please purchase enough tickets to have at least one parent for every five children for these activities.
  3. Mail this form and a $25 deposit to Thistleberry Farm, 61403 Mayflower Rd, South Bend, IN 46614. The date and time will not be reserved until we receive the deposit. The amount of the deposit will be deducted from your total on the day of the party. In the event that the party must be cancelled due to weather, your deposit will be returned to you.
  4. We do have various types of food and drinks available in our concessions trailer. Please check out the concessions page (Food and Drinks) for what we offer. If you anticipate ordering food for a group, it would really help us if you let us know a day ahead of time about how much you will need so we can ensure it will be cooked when you need it. Thanks!

The reserved picnic area is available for 2 durations. The following time slots are available:

  • Fridays:
    4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
    6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
  • Saturdays:
    10:30 am - 12:30 pm
    1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
    3:30 pm - 6:00 pm
  • Sundays:
